INTERNAL ROAD UPDATE - FIRST UPDATE
Dear Residents,
As shared earlier in the GBM and through previous communications, the internal road repair work has already been approved and will be undertaken as planned. However, the work has been kept on temporary hold due to the ongoing rainy season, since carrying out road repairs during rains is technically not advisable. Freshly laid asphalt or concrete does not bond properly on wet surfaces, which can cause premature cracks and damage; water seepage weakens the base layer, reducing the roadβs lifespan; and heavy moisture prevents proper curing of repair materials, leading to poor quality and wastage of resources. In the meantime, we are managing the damaged patches temporarily with cement and concrete to ensure safety and usability. Once the rainy season ends, the complete repair work will begin, with the expected timeline being by the end of August or early September depending on the weather, ensuring that the solution delivered is both durable and long-lasting.
Dear Residents,
Please be informed that internal road repair work will commence from 01st September (subject to weather condition). The work will be carried out in multiple stages, including dismantling, rolling, paving, and patch repair.
To facilitate the repair, one side of the road will remain closed at a time.
π οΈ Action Plan & Traffic Management
1. Road from G1 to Exit Gate and Entry Gate to CCTV room β will be constructed with paver blocks/tiles, as these areas experience heavier traffic and frequent turning. Paver blocks are more durable in such stretches, prevent rutting or potholes, and are easier to maintain, ensuring longer life.
2. Other internal road stretches β will be repaired using bitumen, which is suitable for straight sections with moderate traffic load.
During repair of Exit Gate / G1 Tower side road
π« G1 Tower basement exit ramp will remain CLOSED
β Please use K Tower ramp for exit
